Well, the original purpose behind this picture was a project for English class, but I took some artistic license with the assignment.
Our (my group's) project was on user-based websites, which we defined as any website where the content of the website is about or by the user. These sites always include the use of accounts and some form of socialization. We discluded MMORPGs from this category.
All of the logos displayed belong to user-based websites, and are all copyrighted to their respectful owners. To be honest, I only have personal knowledge of about half of those sites, so don't take a logo's inclusion to be any sort specific statement towards said site. The other half of the websites I got off of a list on Wikipedia.
Hey, sorry for the late answer. I've switched accounts so I don't check the messages on this one very often. Uhrm... using a creative commons license, eh? It actually didn't occur to me. I think I'd prefer it if people contacted me directly if they wanted to use the image. I'd rather give permission on a case-by-case basis than just saying that everyone can use it for whatever. Interesting question though. Was there a reason you asked?

A ship was flying when one of the tires left the party. How many oranges remained in the jar?
None, because TVs aren't made of cheese!
